FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS (F.A.Q.)

Here are some frequently asked questions (and answers)... If you have a questions about our process or products that is not listed here, send us an email and we'll be happy to answer them for you.

Q: What can we expect from your company in regards to installing an epoxy or polished concrete floor?

A: A proper evaluation of the concrete surface for integrity, proper preparation of the surface, and proper installation per the manufactures' recommended installation rates and methods.

Q: What kind of debris or dust can we expect during preparation and installation?

A: We use state of the art equipment, including a Hepa 3 stage vacuum dust collection system which eliminates 90 plus percent of airborne dust. We try in most cases to grind the concrete dry.

Q: What kind of electric power and lighting do you require?

A: Several 110v 20 amp dedicated plug circuits, 240 single phase 30 amp, 208 3 phase 100 amp, and 480 3 phase 50 amp depending on the equipment to be used on your project. Overhead lighting is a must to give the customer the best possible floor installation.

Q: Are air and floor temperatures a factor?

A: They are for epoxy floors. Recommended temperature during application and curing are at least 65 degrees. For polishing we require that temperatures is at least 45 degrees when we apply the chemicals. A warmer temperature helps the chemicals cure quicker.

Q: For how much time can we expect to be off the floor until its cured?

A: Every situation is different. Epoxy normally for 2 to 3 days, and polishing can be completed in parts to keep your operations up and running. You can get back on a polished floor immediately.

What our customers say about us...

February 1, 2012

Dear Dale and Randy,

Thank you for the amazing work you did on my basement floor. The epoxy installment looks stunning, and I am so happy that I will not have to replace my carpet for the fourth time due to flooding! The epoxy floor brightens up our basement, but the best part is that it is maintenance free and very easy to keep clean (even with two shedding dogs)! I have received many compliments on our new basement floor - your work is very much appreciated.

Sincerely,
Sue Brandon
